Charitable Giving - Give Big Green Bay Event
Nonprofit organizations act as the pulse of a community and for the eighth year in a row, the Green Bay Packers and Greater Green Bay Community Foundation will match donations to any of the 50 nonprofits selected for this year’s Give BIG Green Bay program taking place from noon on Wednesday, February 19 to noon on Thursday, February 20.
Utilizing Cherry’s Charitable Giving Program, team members have the opportunity to make a big impact in the Green Bay community! The way that Charitable Giving works is that after a team member is with Cherry for six months, they are eligible to take two paid days yearly to volunteer at a cause important to them. Alternatively, Cherry will make a charitable contribution equal to up to two days of that person’s pay to a cause of their choice in their name.
In its seven years, Give BIG Green Bay has raised more than $13.5 million in donations to 124 nonprofits across Brown County. To see a list of participating organizations for Give BIG Green Bay, please visit https://www.givebiggreenbay.org/.
Remember, while team members can use their Charitable Giving benefit throughout the calendar year, the programs will only match donations from February 19 - February 20. To donate your annual charitable giving benefit, please reach out to Erin or Stephanie!
